Paper settlements will soon become a thing of the past as an eConveyancing mandate for Queensland kicks in on 20 February 2023.
eConveyancing is essentially the completion of property transactions and/or lodgement of property instruments and related documents with Titles Queensland by way of web-based platform referred to as an electronic lodgement network or ELN. Property Exchange Australia Limited (PEXA) and Sympli Australia Pty Ltd are currently the only two approved electronic lodgement network operators (ELNOs) that offer eConveyancing subscription services to legal practitioners and financial institutions in Queensland.
As a PEXA subscriber since 2016 and as one of the early adopters of PEXA Projects in 2018, Shand Taylor Lawyers is proud to have been at the forefront of the implementation of eConveyancing in Queensland. Our property team is very experienced in the nuances involved in the eConveyancing process and is looking forward to commencement of the eConveyancing mandate.
